The project won two main prizes at the Footbridge 2008 conference in Porto, Portugal in the category, ‘footbridges with a span of 30 to 60 meters’. The two prizes were awarded for the aesthetic and technical solution. The ‘International Federation for Structural Concrete’ awarded the footbridge its main prize for ‘Outstanding Concrete Structures’ at the conference in Washington in 2010. It was also awarded “Bridge of the year 2007” by the Ministry of Transport of Czech Republic.
