FUTURAMA BUSINESS CENTER
The Futurama office complex is located in Karlín on the site of the former Statistical Office, connecting the urban development of Karlín with the Invalidovna complex and Haken Gardens with the linear development of the Invalidovna housing estate. In the northeast corner of the area, there is an exit from the Invalidovna metro station.
A PLACE TO WORK WITHOUT THE BORING GRAY
The administrative center consists of a total of 5 five-story office buildings. The complex is complemented by a building with administrative functions and additional services, as well as a commercial and service building. Beneath the office buildings, there are large underground parking garages with ramps connected to Za Invalidovnou Street.
SKELETON STRUCTURE
In collaboration with Atelier Krátký , the building was designed as a reinforced concrete skeleton with brick cladding, featuring prominent window openings of various sizes. Paved pedestrian streets and water features enhance the generous character of the complex. Sculptures by Zdeněk Rufer are placed within this area and in the entrance hall.
